Sanaa Governorate Undersecretaries Fares Al-Kahali and Talib Dahhan opened today the Martyr Commander School in the Dar Salam area in the Sanhan and Bani Bahloul District.
The school, which was implemented at a cost of $670,000 with funding from the Social Fund for Development, consists of 19 classrooms and their annexes.
At the opening, the two governorate representatives praised the role of the Social Fund for Development in implementing educational projects that serve the people of the governorate and contribute to supporting education and improving educational performance.
They expressed their hope to expand the scope of educational projects to include many directorates of the governorate.
Al-Kahali and Dahan confirmed the local authority’s readiness to overcome the difficulties hindering the implementation of service and development projects.
While the head of the Projects and Equipment Division, Ali Al-Jahmi, and the official of the education sector in Sinhan, Ahmed Nasser, appreciated the Social Fund’s interest in implementing specific projects in the educational sector, urging everyone to follow the Fund’s example in implementing similar projects.
The opening was attended by Deputy Head of the Projects Division, Zayed Al-Habiri, Purchasing Director, Hamza Al-Shami, Educational Media Officer, Ali Al-Mikhlafi, Project Accounts Officer, Abdul Hakim Al-Razami, and social, educational, and local figures.
