This letter of intent was signed by Tarik Hamanegeneral director of theONEE, Matteo Patronevice-president of the EBRD And Said Jabranigeneral director of the National Company Guarantee and Finance Company (SNGFE), in the presence of Mohammed Tarik Bchir, Director of Treasury and External Finance (DTFE), indicates a joint press release.
This signing took place on the sidelines of the EBRD Annual Meetings, held from June 5 to 7, 2026 in Riga, Latvia, during a high-level meeting organized between the EBRD, ONEE and SNGFE under the aegis of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, thus testifying to the common desire of the parties to promote structuring projects which strongly contribute to mitigating the effects of the climate changethe press release said.

This financing will be guaranteed by SNGFE as part of its program dedicated to public establishments and companies, marking an important step in cooperation between Tamwilcom and the EBRD for the benefit of financing public projects in Morocco.
This partnership is a continuation of a fruitful collaboration initiated since 2014, during which the EBRD mobilized nearly 119 million euros for the benefit of the sector.drinking water managed by ONEE, including a first project financed with 65 million euros, also focused on improving the performance of ONEE’s water activity, and which is now in the completion phase, with very satisfactory results.
Through this new stage of cooperation, ONEE and the EBRD reaffirm their common commitment to strengthening the Kingdom’s water security and improving the resilience of infrastructure in the face of climate challenges.
