The Ministry of Rural Reconstruction and Development announced in a press release that the construction of a water supply network at the cost of 9.3 million Afghanis in Maidan village of Balkh district of Balkh province was completed and put into use by the Department of Rural Reconstruction and Development of Balkh.
It has been said that the network includes the construction of a 40 cubic meter capacity clean water reservoir, the extension of a 8804 meter long pipe, the connection of 230 solar panels and 16 solar panels.
It should not be forgotten that in the process of implementation of the said project, dozens of people were provided with employment and upon completion, 363 families gained access to drinking water.
