Ustad Ishaq Arinfar, the creator of this exhibition, said that in this exhibition, more than 100 pictures of historical monuments and ancient places of Herat city and districts have been displayed.
He added that the purpose of this exhibition is to get more familiar with the historical monuments of Herat, to show the architectural and cultural values of this province and to draw people’s attention to the importance of protecting and caring for historical heritage.
At the same time, Mawlavi Abdul Mateen Adel, Commander of Culture and Art of Herat Department of Information and Culture, emphasized the importance of identifying and protecting historical monuments and called such programs important for raising public awareness and introducing the historical and cultural background of Herat.
A number of visitors also welcomed this exhibition and said that displaying the pictures of historical buildings provides more opportunities for the young generation to get to know the cultural and architectural heritage of Herat.
It is worth mentioning that this exhibition will last for four days and the last two days are reserved for women.
