Last Saturday, when the statements of the 27-year-old Deisy Jiménez Ramírez regarding the alleged exchange of sexual favors to the then president Gustavo Petro for contracts in public entities became known, EL TIEMPO revealed 5 of these, one in the first vice presidency of the Senate when María José Pizarro was at the head.
In the supporting documents for him to be given the contract in that corporation and in the Ministry of the Interior, not only does his basic high school diploma appear but also a certification from the media HispanTV, which states that the young Jiménez had a connection with the channel as an independent audiovisual producer, through her program producer in Colombia.

The document was first obtained by EL TIEMPO and was published by API Noticias. And now, the Hispantv channel has just issued a statement in which it assures that it did not issue, authorize or endorse the certificate dated June 15, 2021.
“The document contains the logo and institutional data of HispanTV, as well as a signature attributed to a Production and Programming manager that she does not recognize as her own and whose use she never authorized.“, reads the document.
And they add: “The issuance of official certificates corresponds exclusively to the competent authorities of the chain, through established procedures and with authorized signatures and seals.“.
They also ensure: “According to the explanations received, Mrs. Deicy Alejandra Jiménez Ramírez carried out occasional support tasks for Juan Alberto Sánchez Marín, within the framework of her activities as an independent producer in Colombia. HispanTV did not maintain a direct employment or contractual relationship with said person and did not authorize the issuance of the aforementioned certificate.”
In fact, they stated that after this information was made public “HispanTV has terminated its collaboration with Juan Alberto Sánchez Marín.”
And they finish by saying that They have no relationship with the complaints made against former President Gustavo Petro nor with the procedures derived from those accusations.
“HispanTV rejects any unauthorized use of its name, logo, institutional documentation or signatures of its managers and reserves the right to adopt the appropriate measures to protect its identity and reputation.“.

Sánchez Marín’s version

Since last Tuesday, EL TIEMPO communicated Juan Alberto Sánchez Marín, to ask him about the young woman’s certification and began that he knows her because they are both from Seville, Valle.
“HispanTV is an international network that does not hire local operational personnel in Colombia nor does it have any relationship or interference in public procurement matters in the country. The production of audiovisual content is done through my work as an independent producer (natural person) in Colombia, under the production name DXmedio,” said Sánchez Marín.
And he added: “I am originally from Seville (Valle del Cauca) and our production work is itinerant (covering Bogotá, the Coffee Region and Valle del Cauca), with the address in Seville being my family base and logistics center of operations. Because she is from the same town, between August 2018 and December 2020 (a period in which she was already of age), Mrs. Jiménez collaborated occasionally and independently under my direction in operational tasks of general assistance and field production in the field (search for citizen testimonies on the street, logistics, guest service and transportation) for programs such as ‘What Do You Think?’ and ‘Camera on the Shoulder'”.
In addition, he said that the collaboration with Jiménez ended on December 18, 2020 and that in June 2021, at the request of the young woman, the certification was issued since its production in Colombia: “Leaving at the bottom of the document my direct contact information in the country as a responsible producer.”
And he was emphatic that it has no relationship with subsequent actions: “Since December 2020, I have no employment relationship or knowledge of his subsequent state contracts or of his personal activities or situations that are the subject of public debate today.”
For now, former senator María José Pizarro has not come out to clarify whether or not she knows Jiménez, but she denied the young woman’s allegations.
“Unfortunately it’s time to come out and insist: I will never be honest with a situation like the one suggested. I have defended women’s rights not in words, but as a cause of life; That has been, is and will continue to be a central conviction of my political practice. My work, my struggles and my career speak for me. They are not going to erase who I am or what I represent with malicious insinuations. My commitment to women and popular causes is not negotiated,” Pizarro said on his networks.
And he added: “If necessary, in the face of each false statement or relationship made with my name and my actions, without support, I will go to court. “Here I am and here I am still, facing with dignity and without fear what we have achieved.”
