Customs has seized a significant amount of suspected counterfeit products during an operation carried out in five locations in the Pristina region.
According to the announcement, during the checks, sneakers were found and confiscated that had trade marks of well-known international brands, while the approximate value of the seized goods is estimated to be around 200 thousand euros.
“All suspected products have been confiscated and placed under the supervision of the competent authorities for further legal proceedings,” the announcement states.
The operation was carried out in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office, while the case is being investigated to clarify all the circumstances and to identify the persons responsible.
