The Ministry of Culture is holding a three-day workshop on basic cybersecurity skills from 2 to 4 June, as part of efforts to raise awareness of online threats.
The training, taking place at Mahmoud Al-Baladi Hall in Tripoli, comes amid increasing reliance on digital services and growing concerns over data security and cybercrime.
According to the Libyan News Agency, the workshop will introduce participants to core concepts such as password security, social engineering, and protecting devices and networks, alongside practical guidance on safe internet use.
It will also explore career opportunities in cybersecurity and provide learning resources for beginners.
The programme is aimed at the Ministry of Culture employees and affiliated institutions, as well as others with an interest in information technology.
Officials say the initiative forms part of broader efforts to improve digital literacy and strengthen understanding of cybersecurity practices.
