KUWAIT: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced on Sunday the launch of a new electronic service enabling government employees to confirm their marital status through the unified government e-services application Sahel. In a press statement to KUNA, the Commission said the service marks a step forward in completing the automation of procedures related to marital status verification for employees in government entities operating integrated systems.
It explained that the service functions through notifications sent via the Sahel app, allowing employees to confirm the accuracy of their personal data or report any changes electronically, without the need to visit administrative affairs departments at their workplaces.
The Commission said the initiative is part of its broader drive towards a paperless government system and reflects ongoing efforts to simplify procedures and accelerate service delivery. It added that the move supports its wider digital transformation strategy, aimed at streamlining administrative processes, reducing time and effort, and improving the efficiency of government services. — KUNA
