Who are you with?

– I have supported England since I was a child. Many of the players I have followed have played for Liverpool, including Steven Gerrard and other talented English players. I think they are off to a good start depending on their first few games, but I have a hard time envisioning them reaching the very top as the tournament draws to a close.
If we have to be realistic, who do you think will be world champion?
– First France, and then comes Portugal, I will definitely point to that.
Niels-Erik Eriksen
Who are you with?

– I stick with Argentina because I have followed Lionel Messi since childhood and it seems likely that he can end his World Cup career in a good way.
They won the WC last time. How do you think they’ll do this time?
– I think they can become world champions again. I expect them to be among the strongest teams in the tournament.
If we have to be realistic, who has the best chance of winning the World Cup?
– Spain. They have several young players with them who are participating in the WC for the first time. I have followed them closely and in my estimation they stand strong.
Patrick O. Frederiksen
Who are you with?

– I will stick with Portugal because they have many exciting and talented players.
Is it because Cristiano Ronaldo plays for Portugal?
– Yes, Cristiano Ronaldo has always been one of my favourites. I look up to him because of his ability on the field and the way he has overcome challenges and worked hard to get to where he is today. It could be great to see him end his World Cup career in a good way.
Lionel Messi has already won the World Cup. Can you imagine Cristiano Ronaldo doing that too?
– I can do that. After all, he is one of the world’s best players. When you look at his career, he has achieved an incredible amount. But the WC title is still missing, so it would be exciting to see him become world champion.
If we have to be realistic, who do you think will win the WC?
– France. They have a very strong team with quality in all positions – from the goalkeeper all the way forward. In addition, I also think that Brazil can go far.
Although Greenland has not yet had the opportunity to participate in the World Cup, the final round is still considered important here at home because it brings people together across differences.
– Even though we have different political positions, backgrounds and beliefs, the WC is important because it creates community and togetherness, says Patrick O. Frederiksen, captain of the Greenland men’s national football team.
