The “Electric Networks of Armenia” PJSC denied the information published in a number of media, according to which massive power outages occurred in the polling stations on the day of voting for the parliamentary elections. “Armenpress”According to the report, the message issued by HETC states:
“Yerkir.am, RadioAurora.am, MAMUL.am, MediaHub.am, AlphaNews.am, Aravot.am, Hayeli.am, Hraparak.am, YerkirMedia.am media have published untrue information about the company “Armenia Electric Networks” in their accounts on the social network “Facebook”.
“In particular, regarding the existence of massive power outages that allegedly took place in polling stations 13/7, 13/6, 14/4, 13/37, 13/44, 18/14, 15/53, 15/54, 12/49, 14/44, which do not correspond to reality and are slander, tarnishing the company’s business reputation. The company has sent a request to refute the published information to the above-mentioned news organizations in the prescribed manner. In case of non-fulfilment of the demand or leaving it unanswered, the company will protect its rights in court.” HETC CJSC called on media representatives to refrain from disseminating unverified and untrue information related to HETC, and to observe the principles of impartial journalistic ethics and professional responsibility.
