Maulvi Inayat-ul-Rahman Jalali, head of village reconstruction and development of the said province, said that two small dams will be built in Daulatzai and Mahlan areas of Gardez city and another one in Sayed Karam district.
At the same time, the deputy governor of Paktia, Maulvi Muhammad Anwar Dinparwar assured that the construction of these dams will be completed within three months.
Residents of the area told Bakhtar Agency that with the implementation of these projects, their existing problems in the field of water will be solved to a large extent and they will use the water in a better way.
Officials add that the three dams have the capacity to store thousands of cubic meters of water, which will play an important role in preventing unnecessary wastage of water and people will be able to use it regularly.
