The Ministry of Commerce is strengthening digital governance and cybersecurity awareness among its officials through a specialised training programme focused on secure technology and digital administration.
Speaking at the opening of the training on June 16, Chea Ratha, Secretary of State, led the course, “Cybersecurity, the Use of the MoC Mobile App, and Microsoft Office 365.” The initiative was co-organised by the Trade Training and Research Institute and the Department of Digital Trade Development.
The training aimed to enhance officials’ understanding of cybersecurity risks and reinforce the protection of institutional data. It also provided practical guidance on using the ministry’s mobile app and digital tools to improve administrative efficiency.
Key sessions focused on preventing phishing attacks, optimising the use of email and Microsoft Office 365, implementing the AAS system, and utilising the MoC mobile app for public services.
The initiative is part of the ministry’s broader efforts to improve information security and support the development of a modern, efficient, and technology-driven public administration.
