Members of the CNTE gathered this Monday at the facilities of THE UNIVERSAL with the aim of disseminating the main demands of the movement, such as: the repeal of the ISSSTE Law of 2007, the elimination of the 2019 educational reform, the return to the pension system without Afores, better working conditions, a 100% salary increase to the base salary and the cessation of discounts for workers who have participated in protests.
“She will always go out to the media lying, over and over again. That is why the teachers demand that these media outlets not lend themselves to following her lies. All the media outlets, such as El Universal, Excelsior. (…) They say that teachers do not want to work, that they are here because they are lazy, that they are here because they are asking for a salary. We are not here for that, we are here in the capital to ask that they give us back what they have stolen from us: our right to retirement worthy,” they expressed.
