The Fars news agency in Iran, which has connections with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, said this morning that the commanders of an American frigate had not complied with the Revolutionary Guard’s orders, and therefore two missiles were fired at the warship near the city of Jask, which is west of the Strait of Hormuz.
These missiles are said to have hit the ship and are said to have been turned back.
In Fars news says that the leaders of the Revolutionary Guard have repeatedly declared that no ship will sail through the strait without their permission.
An Axios reporter quoted a senior US official as saying that no warships were hit by Iranian missiles. However, the answer does not relate to whether missiles were fired at an American warship in the area.

Donald Trump, the president of the United States, announced last night that there is a possibility to “guide” ships that have been stuck in the Strait of Hormuz through there. However, he did not say how it will happen.
As a result, Iranian officials warned that they would interpret any US intervention in the strait as a violation of the ceasefire currently in force.
CENTCOM says two US cargo ships were sailed through the strait this morning. It was done after American warships were sailed through the strait.
