According to Jam Jam Online, Tehran Municipality Traffic Control Company announced: “Tawheed Tunnel will be completely closed on both directions (north and south) from 24:00 to 5:00 a.m. on May 12, 1405.”
The cause of this blockage is the repair, maintenance and calibration of the technical equipment of the tunnel.
Alternative routes are as follows:
For the northern band (to the north): Sheikh Fazlullah Noori highway and Chamran highway to the north.
For the southern lane (to the south): Nawab Safavi highway to the south and Yadgar Imam highway to the south.
