to report Online economy According to IRNA, the four-way negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran, the United States, Pakistan, and Qatar, with the focus of pursuing the implementation of the commitments contained in the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, began at the Borgenstock Hotel in Switzerland.
Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the head of the negotiating team of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met and talked separately with Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Qatari Prime Minister Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, as mediators of the negotiation process, before the start of this meeting.
Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, Ignacio Cassis, in the first official program of the Iranian delegation.
In today’s negotiations, the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran is following up on the implementation of five clauses of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, including the end of conflicts on all fronts, the cessation of attacks by the Zionist regime on Lebanon, the reduction of the effects of sanctions, especially in the oil sector, and the implementation of other obligations of the other side.
Tehran has also asked the Pakistani and Qatari mediators to seriously pursue the full and continuous implementation of America’s commitments, considering the role and responsibility they had in the formation of Islamabad’s understanding.
