Sonelgaz confirms its readiness to ensure continuity of supply of electric and gas energy across the entire national territory during the baccalaureate exam period.
On the eve of the start of the baccalaureate degree, Sonelgaz Company announced the establishment of an exceptional plan aimed at ensuring the continuity and quality of electrical and gas energy supply across the entire national territory, especially at the level of examination centers, in order to provide the appropriate conditions for candidates to pass this examination.
The corporation indicated that it had harnessed “all human and technical capabilities to make this plan a success, as 685 teams were recruited to intervene in the field of electricity and 618 teams to intervene in the field of gas, distributed across various distribution directorates, to ensure rapid and effective intervention when needed.”

In addition to “placement of 198 assistants at the level of telephone reception centers through the National Communication Center in order to ensure continuous follow-up, reception and processing of various reports, in addition to organizing a maintenance system that includes 936 executives and assistants at the level of the General Directorate and the distribution directorates and poles, throughout the period extending from June 6 to 11, 2026, to ensure field coordination and continuous follow-up of the functioning of networks and facilities.”

Sonelgaz also pointed out that it has taken a number of proactive measures through extensive preventive maintenance operations that included sensitive networks, installations and stations, while harnessing the contractors approved by its departments and enhancing its readiness to intervene immediately in the event of any damage or fluctuation in the energy supply being recorded.
