Today, Monday, the Minister of Public Works and Basic Installations, Abdelkader Glaoui, directed that all obstacles be lifted “as soon as possible” to ensure the actual start of the completion of the Algeria-Tamanrasset railway project.
According to a statement by the Ministry, this came during a working session devoted to the progress of preparations for launching the Algeria-Tamanrasset railway project through the provinces of Laghouat-Ghardaia-Mnaia-Ain Salah-Tamanrasset.
The meeting dealt with overcoming and addressing all field obstacles, especially those related to liberating the corridor and transforming various networks, in preparation for the actual start of completion.
In this context, a detailed presentation was given on the progress of the work to edit the private corridor in the same section, where Gallawi gave “strict instructions” stipulating the necessity of “removing all obstacles as soon as possible, to ensure the actual start of the completion of this strategic project,” according to the ministry’s statement.
