Damascus, June 7 (SANA) Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani received Vatican Ambassador and Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Luigi Roberto Cona in Damascus on Sunday and received a copy of his credentials as ambassador to Syria.
The meeting marked the formal presentation of a copy of the envoy’s credentials in preparation for the completion of the diplomatic accreditation process.
