“I love Palanga” festival: three days after which summer starts again | Life

Three days when Palanga lives in celebration

During the festival, the resort will be filled with concerts, street theater performances, family activities, sports competitions and various entertainment. These are three days dedicated not to everyday life, but to good emotions and impressions of the beginning of summer.

A festive atmosphere will be created throughout the weekend by the traditional fair “Palangos Juzė”, inviting you to taste local flavors, discover crafts and take away a piece of the seaside mood. The city’s museums and cultural spaces will also open their doors – exhibitions, excursions, education and meetings await visitors.

The start of the festival is already on Friday

On June 5, Palanga will officially immerse itself in the celebration. From 5:30 p.m. On Jūratė and Kastytis Square, the Olandija Street Theater Troupe “Teatro Pavana” will appear, which will perform its performances in the evening as well.

The musical program will start at 8:20 p.m. – “Superkoloritas” will appear on stage, 9 p.m. – Angelou, and at 10 p.m. the audience will be delighted by the group “Katarsis”. The climax of the evening will be at 11:15 p.m. starting the open-air Zumba Night Party.

Saturday is the most intense day of the festival

On Saturday, Palanga will wake up from the very morning – the city will be woken up by the Palanga Orchestra. During the day, street theater improvisations, concerts, education and various entertainment will take place on J. Basanavičiaus street.

One of the most impressive moments awaits in the evening – over the sea bridge at 8 p.m. the “Baltic Bees” jet show will appear, which promises to be one of the brightest spectacles of the summer.

Music surrounded by nature and scenes all over the city

On Saturday afternoon, a special atmosphere will move to Birutė Park. At the Amber Museum at 5 p.m. GOYA will perform with the Palanga Orchestra, and at 6:30 p.m. – Kotryna Juodzevičiūtė and Vilnius JJAZZ Ensemble.

Concerts will also take place in other areas of the city: the choir program “Sing with the sea” will be played on Kurhaus Square, dance performances will be held on Basanavičiaus Street, and there will be no shortage of cultural initiatives in various places.

After the airplane show, the evening concerts will begin at Jūrates and Kastytis Square: 8:45 p.m. – Monika Liu, 10 p.m. – “Free Finga”, and at 11.15 p.m. the festival will be crowned by the performance of “Beissoul & Einius”.

Activities for the whole family: from sports to active entertainment

The festival focuses a lot on families. Creative workshops, education, robotics classes, games, performances and animators will be held all Saturday in Šeimai slėni on J. Basanavičiaus street.

There will be a show called “How to be Magical” for children, and first aid training, education and recreational activities for parents and grandparents.

Since Palanga is a European sports city, the festival program will include active activities. There will be padel tournaments, 3×3 basketball competitions, yoga and zumba classes, corrective exercises and other sports initiatives.

In the Valley of Families, visitors will also be able to try simultaneous chess or the “Six Keys” education.

Sunday is the gentle finale of the festival

On Sunday, the festival will end in a calmer and cozier way. 11 o’clock The children of the city of Palanga will perform in the square of Jūratė and Kastytis, and from 13:00 to 15:00. there will be performances by special services.

Creative activities, DJ performances, educations will take place all day in the Valley of Families, and at 2 p.m. – foam show for children. On the beach at 12 o’clock “Zumba Beach Party” will take place, and in Birutė Park you will be able to relax in gong sound therapy.

A start to summer that you want to repeat

The festival “Myliu Palanga” invites everyone – families, friends and vacationers looking for romance – to the resort where the real summer begins.

During three days, Palanga offers not only events, but also emotions: the sound of the sea, music, commotion, children’s laughter and new experiences. It’s a weekend that takes away not only the photos, but also the feeling of the beginning of summer.
