Today, the National Bureau of Meteorology reported a record high temperature and a severe heat wave in several states in the north of the country.
The same interests explained, in a special bulletin, that a heat wave could exceed 41 degrees Celsius, affecting the states of Algiers, Tipaza, Boumerdes, Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba and El Tarf.
The same authorities also warned of a severe heat wave exceeding 45 degrees in the states of Chlef, Relizane and Ain Defla, on Friday and Saturday.
