Today, Monday, the governor of the state of Oran, Ibrahim Ochan, ordered the suspension of work on the completion of one of the real estate upgrades in the municipality of Bir al-Djir, after it carried out excavation work next to a mosque without respecting the legal distance.
According to a statement from the state of Oran, the governor gave instructions to cancel the building permit, after excavation work caused the entrance to the mosque to be closed.
In the same municipality, the statement adds, the governor observed a number of violations, and ordered the head of the Bir al-Jir district and the mayor to tighten oversight, take the necessary measures, and apply the law against those who commit violations related to real estate promotion activity.
