A 68-year-old resident of Skopje will be held accountable after repeatedly forcing a child, who was only 11 years old when the Golgotha began, into sexual relations over a period of three years, the police and the Prosecutor’s Office announced. The suspect, who was arrested yesterday, recorded the rapes as pornographic videos.
“The suspect, in the time period from 2023 to 04/27/2026, forced a child born in 2012 to have sex in various locations and abused him to record photos and videos with pornographic content. He threatened the child that if he told anyone, he would show the recorded materials to other people,” said the Prosecutor’s Office.
The police announced that they arrested the suspect yesterday, and that a criminal complaint was filed against him following an urgent procedure, and a judge ordered him to be detained for 30 days.
“Yesterday (April 27, 2026) police officers from SVR Skopje deprived S.Sh. (68) of Skopje of his freedom, due to grounds of suspicion for the crime of “rape of a child under the age of 15” according to Art. 188 of the CC, that is, because since 2023 he forced a minor from Skopje to have sexual relations, and also abused him to record video material with pornographic content. After providing all the evidential material, by the Violent Crime Unit-Department for Blood and Sexual Offenses against S.Š. “a criminal report was filed under an urgent procedure, and the suspect was ordered to be detained for 30 days by the judge of the previous procedure,” said the Ministry of the Interior.
