Deep pain overcomes a Honduran family after confirming the death of the little Ricardo García, barely three years old, after suffering serious burns in a fire.
The tragic event occurred yesterday Tuesday in a home in the municipality of Belén Gualcho, Ocotepeque, where the minor He suffered severe injuries as a result of the accident.
In the house, where the fire occurred, little Ricardo’s parents had a business.
After the emergency, the child was airlifted to Tegucigalpa, in an attempt to save his life due to the severity of his condition.
The little boy was admitted to the Burned Child Foundation, where he received specialized medical care.
However, despite the efforts of health personnel, the minor was unable to resist due to the magnitude of the burns he had.
The news has generated consternation among family members, neighbors and residents of the aforementioned municipality in western Honduras, who deeply regret the loss of the minor.
So far, no further details have been provided about the causes of the fire that caused the tragedy.
The body of the minor is being transferred this Wednesday from Tegucigalpa to Ocotepque for his wake and subsequent burial.
