Public Radio of Armenia is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, which will be celebrated with multi-genre events. The Jubilee Government Commission has already approved the program of 16 official and cultural events. Within the framework of the anniversary, the new logo and branding of the radio will be presented to the public.
“Armenpress”According to the report, at the meeting with the journalists, the executive director of Public Radio Armen Koloyan congratulated the radio listeners and the employees of Public Radio.

“Public radio, being the successor of Armenian radio, has always remained faithful to its mission in different historical regions. Radio is the most magical broadcast media. It is our dream that we have re-equipment and fortunately, with the help of the government, we will try to create at least two new pavilions this year, to change the equipment of the other pavilions,” said Koloyan.
Edgar Amirkhanyan, the PR officer for the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Radio, added that the festive events will not be limited to 16.
“There are already many other programs and initiatives on the air that talk about the role, significance and value of public radio. We have chosen 16 from many events. One of them is the big media conference, which will gather under one roof the heads of many famous radio stations of the European Broadcasting Union, journalists,” said Amirkhanyan, adding that the official opening ceremony of the 100th anniversary events will take place on May 22, in the courtyard of Radio House.
As part of the 100th anniversary of public radio, concerts, a film premiere, a jubilee stamp and a commemorative medal will be issued. In addition, an interactive radio booth will be installed in one of the key tourist locations of the city, and the entrance to the Radio House will be updated with a new poster, which will become a unique business card of the jubilee year.
