Now in its 36th edition, the national awareness day for economic support for the Catholic Church, which takes place in Italy on Sunday 3 May in the 25,500 parishes of the country, is “an important opportunity to understand the value of a signature which costs the taxpayer nothing but which allows us to multiply resources and services that return to the territory for the benefit of all”. The Italian Episcopal Conference reminds us of this by underlining that allocating the 8×1000 to the Catholic Church “is more than you think”, it is a choice that translates into welcome, solidarity and hope.
