A scandalous claim was made for the UK-based public broadcaster BBC. It was alleged that a server physically attacked a female employee, and it was stated that the woman’s arm was broken.
According to the news in the Mail on Sunday, a senior BBC presenter allegedly broke the arm of a female employee. The news stated that although the channel management was aware of the situation, it did not report it to the police. While it was noted that no disciplinary punishment was imposed on the presenter in question, it was reported that this person continued to work within the institution on the channel for a few more years after the incident.
A source who described the moment of the incident said that the presenter grabbed the woman’s wrists, squeezed them crosswise and then threw them to the ground. Although the incident was documented with a doctor’s report, it was claimed that the situation was ‘covered up’.
The newspaper stated that it knew the identities of the two people involved in the incident, which was reported to have occurred in 2014, but decided not to disclose them.
