In the competition designed with a scientific methodology, samples taken from the participants will be placed in specially designed microfluidic systems. The “race” will be carried out based on the speed at which the cells can cover a microscopic distance.
PARTICIPATION PROCESS AND PUBLICATION FORMAT
Candidates do not need to travel to San Francisco in person for the event; The sample collection kits sent to the participants are delivered to a laboratory in California following the necessary procedures.
The movements of the cells will be reflected live on screens through powerful microscopes. Viewers will be presented with statistics, result tables and biomarkers of the participants, as in sports events.
