The current government is openly hostile to what our nation has built over the centuries. In it, I see the “resentment” of people without roots, intellectually and morally oppressed, a unique revenge for their spiritual poverty. Due to fate, the people who are in power want to destroy every national, every achievement that is not related to their name.
With this obsession of theirs, they have gone to the depths of the ages. Historians serving the government claim that there was no Grigor Lusavorich, this is just a mythical figure, that Mesrop Mashtots and Sahak Partev were wrong, they were not independent, they were Greek lovers.
After these battles, any ignorant bluff, any brazen hooliganism becomes understandable. CP members and government officials who serve them (for example, the head of the National Security Service) dare to call His Holiness Patriarch “Ktrich Nersisyan”. Allegedly, they despise. But in reality it is an attitude towards our most basic national structure, its patriarchal structure. It seems to Pashinyan that if the court-DAAH falls into his hands, he can decide who should deal with what in the structures of our church.
The same in 1992-94. our victory in the war and the liberation of Artsakh. According to this government, it was the “adventure” of the Russians and Ter-Petrosyan, the purpose of which was to hinder our sovereignty.
During these 34 years, we also had victories in peacetime, first of all, in sports. Those victories are of the most important national importance, Armenia is also respected and recognized in the world with them. One can treat Gagik Tsarukyan in a different way, not accept his political activity, but let any unprejudiced person honestly answer whether these victories would have happened if he had not devoted himself to Armenian sports for several decades with all his abilities.
Now they are trying to destroy the Armenian Olympic Committee with the help of the same “Court-CSO”. The immediate reason is some political, pre-election calculations, maybe the personal ambitions of some. But deep down is the hatred towards the national.
… This is how it turns out that our most important national value, our most important tradition… is barbecue.
