Drita has taken another big step towards the defense of the title after the victory on Saturday against Pristina e Re.
The match of the 32nd round of the elite of Kosovar football, played on the field with synthetic grass at the National Camp of FFK in Hajvali, Drita won 1:0.
Besnik Krasniqi scored the only goal in the match in the 40th minute from the penalty. The penalty was won by Kristal Abazaj, after he was tripped in the area by the defensive midfielder, Cheick Doukoure. Judge Valon Bajgora immediately signaled at the penalty spot.
The goalkeeper Faton Maloku also had merit in the victory of the people of Gjilan, who stood out with several saves.
Drita with victory in first place now has 63 points – eight more than the Balkans who have one game less. New Prishtina diminishes the chances of remaining in the elite after this defeat. With 28 points, it is the last in the table.
