The New Serbian Democracy of Andrija Mandić responded to the accusations of the President of the Municipality of Budva, Nikola Jovanović.
“We cannot get rid of the impression that the DPS President of the Municipality of Budva, Nikola Jovanović, has an indescribable need to target the New Serbian Democracy and its president every time he is faced with the media or any other situation that is unpleasant or uncomfortable for him,” Mandić’s party responded.
They say that “the unfortunate scenes that took place during January, which have been brought up again these days on social networks, are certainly a topic for the competent authorities” and add that they believe “as citizens of Budva and this country, that they will do their job according to the letter of the law, and establish all the relevant facts”.
“We, however, really have no intention of wasting time on Nikola Jovanović’s unfounded and fruitless allegations. We are focused on a strong field campaign, in which we convey messages of peace and stability to the citizens of Budva, but also present concrete economic projects and plans so that, after the next local elections, we will return Budva to its citizens and free it from the yoke of the DPS,” said the New Serbian Democracy.
