The Kingdom show five changes from the team that start the League final against Donegal, with Paudie Clifford back in the starting side
Diarmuid O’Connor hadn’t featured in a Kerry match day squad since last year’s All-Ireland final, but is named to start Saturday’s Munster SFC semi-final against Clare
Diarmuid O’Connor will see his first action for Kerry in 2026 with the Na Gaeil man named at midfield for Saturday’s Munster SFC semi-final against Clare in Ennis.
O’Connor has spent the first four months of the year working his way back to fitness from a shoulder injury that severely curtailed his season last year for club and county, and his inclusion in the team offsets the absence of Seán O’Shea and Joe O’Connor, who are both understood to be hampered by an ankle and foot injury respectively.
