The Education Center for the improvement of the conditions of women in precarious situations of the Association Le Grand Atlas (AGA) of Marrakech organized a series of socio-educational events in commemoration of the 69th anniversary of National Mutual Aid, under the presidency of Professor Mohamed Knidiri.

Representative members of the National Mutual Aid office of the ocher city were also present. Objective: to salute the efforts made by this institution to improve the living conditions of poor people and to promote the values of equity and social justice, since its creation by the late His Majesty King Mohammed V on Ramadan 26, 1376 (April 27, 1957) in the form of a private establishment of a social nature recognized as being of public utility.
On this occasion, a grandiose ceremony was organized on Tuesday April 28, 2026, in the presence of senior dignitaries responsible for the associative field of the ocher city, Fouad Belkhatab, vice-president, Abderrahim Aït El Koch, director of the Center, Houria Berrouich, responsible for activities, and finally Abdelghani Zrikem, coordinator and supervisor of socio-cultural events at the AGA Center.
Professor Mohamed Knidiri underlines on this happy occasion “that this event takes place today in continuation and in perfect coordination with the framework of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), as every year in order to highlight the major transformations that the institution has undergone since its creation by the late HM King Mohammed V in 1957, in addition to publicizing its main achievements and interventions in favor of categories in situations of vulnerability and precariousness, particularly women and children. Since its creation, National Mutual Aid has been at the service of strengthening the pillars of the social state and human development.
National Mutual Assistance remains a pioneer in all solidarity and humanitarian actions, which enshrine authentic national values in terms of social and socio-economic benefits in and for the preservation of the dignity of women and children.
Hundreds of women are also registered each year and benefit from social assistance benefits which reflect the significant impact of the center of the Association Le Grand Atlas (AGA), in terms of the social and economic integration of women.
Professional training in the different fields of sewing, cutting and haute couture pattern making, gastronomy, traditional national and European pastries in all categories, hairdressing and aesthetics as well as computer and plastic arts courses are provided by competent trainers and teachers.
A huge amount of work coupled with support for the creation of income-generating projects through a socio-economic approach, based on equity and equal opportunities for each of the students training at the Center of the Grand Atlas Association (AGA).
Khemisset
A multidisciplinary medical caravan was organized on Tuesday for the benefit of residents of the Social Center for the elderly in the commune of Sidi Allal El Bahraoui (province of Khemisset).
This initiative was organized by the Islamic Charitable Association for the care of the elderly and social solidarity, in partnership with the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, the caïdat of Sidi Allal El Bahraoui, the council of the commune, the Provincial Directorate of National Mutual Assistance, the Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs, the Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, as well as the Association of External Services of the province. Initiated as part of strengthening access to health services and bringing essential care closer to beneficiaries, the caravan mobilized a specialized medical team covering the disciplines of cardiology, ophthalmology and diabetology. More than 40 residents, men and women, benefited from medical examinations and consultations, in addition to the free distribution of medicines.
