Firea enjoys the no-confidence motion, but says nothing of GOLD: “Getting out of the deadlock we got into from one man’s inability to team up!”

MEP Gabriela Firea see the censure motion announced by P.S.D with GOLD as a way to get out of a political deadlock that would have been caused, in his opinion, by Ilia Bolojan. Firea argues that it is not normal for someone who did not win the election to lead the government. However, the former minister does not mention that this censure motion will be drafted and submitted jointly with the AUR. Previously, Gabriela Firea did not rule out the possibility of a government P.S.D-GOLD.

“The censure motion, announced a short time ago, is the way out of this unprecedented political deadlock, in which we have entered due to the inability of a single man to form a team! Team, to decide the common agreement the meaning and correct measures of a government facing the people”, stated Firea.

The MEP wrote on Facebook that the “normality” is to present to the citizens everything you managed to accomplish, in a short time, from the Government Program. “With data, figures, concrete information”.

“The abnormality is to want to lead the government, without winning the elections – so without the support of the Romanians -, without support in the Parliament, as a natural person. Undemocratic and unconstitutional.

The political crisis can be ended immediately, if the basic rules of any democratic society and the Fundamental Law were respected”, concludes Firea.

The clarifications come after PSD and AUR announced that they will jointly submit a motion of censure against the Bolojan government.

The decision comes after PSD ministers resigned, after the party decided to leave the governing coalition and withdraw political support for the liberal prime minister.
