The actress Mariclare Costelloknown for her starring role in the 1971 psychological horror film “Let’s Scare Jessica to Death” (“Let’s scare Jessica to death”), he died. He was 90 years old.
“His gift was exceptional; he knew how to help people let go of their own worries, focus on the task rather than themselves, and in doing so, help them connect with their own creative voice,” his family wrote in an obituary.
Born Mariclare Catherine Costello Arbus on February 3, 1936 in Peoria, Illinois, the actress appeared four times on Broadway and on television played Rosemary Hunter Fordwick in the series “The Waltons.”
In 1974, Costello also played Antoinette Slovik, the wife of the main character in Martin Sheen in the ABC movie “The Execution of Private Slovik.”
Costello is survived by her husband, Arin, and her partner, Ethan; his granddaughter, Bird; his stepdaughters, Amy and Doon.
