How much does a day at the beach for two people on the central coast cost this Easter 2026?

During Holy Week, in addition to complying with religious traditions, many Caracas residents or tourists from other states look for a recreational space in La Guaira. This 2026, merchants on the Vargas coast declare themselves ready to visit to offer beach services ranging from traditional fried fish to accommodation options in inns.

A couple’s budget varies considerably depending on the spa chosen. At the closing of this note, with an official BCV rate of 473.91 Bs/USD, a day at the beach in Vargas state for a couple can range between 44 and 62 dollars, which represents between 160 and 226 minimum monthly salaries (set at 130 bolivars). It is important to note that these calculations do not include the consumption of alcoholic beverages or additional recreational expenses.

The transportation factor is the first filter of the budget. From the Gato Negro station in Caracas, the official ticket to Catia La Mar or La Guaira is 450 bolivars, but transporters usually adjust it to 1 dollar per person.

On the other hand, for those heading to Naiguatá, users report that the buses charge between 2 and 3 dollars per passenger. This implies that, depending on the distance, a couple must have between 4 and 12 dollars just to ensure their transportation to and from the capital.

Variety of prices in the Vargas spas

The economic offer varies depending on the parish visited. In the west, specifically in Playa Candilejas, in Catia La Mar, the rental of an awning with two chairs remains at 10 dollars, while the most affordable fish dish is at 15 dollars, including accompaniments such as tostones and salad.

In this destination, a couple spends a total of 44 dollars, adding transportation of 4 dollars.

Towards the center-east, in Camurí Chico, Caraballeda parish, the prices of awnings range between 10 and 15 dollars.

In this area, the cheapest fish also starts at $15, although there are special varieties that range from $20, $30 and $40.

At the eastern end, in Playa Los Ángeles, Naiguatá parish, the budget is higher. The couple would spend $12 for the round-trip ticket, $10 for the awning, and assuming an $18 fish dish for each (a total of $36), the minimum expense amounts to $58. This amount does not include extras such as a $12 serving of tostones.

Irmari González, service provider, told Estudio Cocuyo that the union has been organized to offer respectful treatment and urged vacationers to collaborate with the maintenance and cleaning of the beaches for the enjoyment of all visitors.

    Operation “Safe Holy Week 2026”

For this season, the Vargas state activated a deployment of 2,200 officials, including members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb), police forces, Civil Protection and Firefighters. This contingent has the responsibility of guarding the 172 kilometers of coastline and guaranteeing order on the 66 beaches declared suitable for bathers, according to a report from the newspaper Últimas Noticias.

Regarding accommodation infrastructure, the authorities reported an installed capacity of 5,800 hotel beds distributed throughout the entity.

The security device also includes road control points and medical assistance on the main roads that connect with Caracas, in order to manage vehicle flow and attend to contingencies in the areas near the resorts.

    Costs in Morrocoy and Choroní

The budget for tourists varies significantly if they opt for other traditional destinations in the west and center of the country.

Cayo Sal, located in the Morrocoy National Park, Falcón state, logistics costs are higher. The boat transfer to Salt Cay costs $30, while renting an awning with two chairs costs $20.

As for food, a plate of fish with rice and patacones is priced at $25, which brings the couple’s lunch expense to $50.

An additional serving of tostones with cheese is sold for $15, according to what sellers told Estudio Cocuyo.

In the town of Choroní, located in the state of Aragua, visitors report that the rental of awnings ranges between 15 and 20 dollars.

Fish consumption for a couple starts at $40 (based on large sharing or individual plates).

For those who decide to stay overnight, inns with pools offer rates between $40 and $50 per night, including breakfast. Other local expenses include tequeños on the boardwalk for $1, empanadas from $2 and ice for $2.
