Fenerbahçe basketball players took a 1:0 lead against Zalgiris in the Euroleague playoffs, after winning 89:78 at home in Istanbul.
Fenerbahce was led by Tarik Biberovic with 16 points, and the most effective player for the Lithuanian club was Nigel Williams-Goss with 24 points.
The playoff series is played until three wins, and the next game will be played on April 28, again in Istanbul.
Olympiacos beat Monaco 91:70 at home in Athens. For the winner, Sasha Vezenkov shone with 20 points, and for the French team, Mike James was the first scorer with 19 points. The next match will be played on April 28, again in Athens.
