“His passion for motorcycles was more than a hobby – it was his way of life, his path, a symbol of his freedom,” his friend Deividas Janavičius wrote about Mr. Sadauskas, inviting steel horse lovers to honor the deceased.
“Every road was an adventure for Mantius, every turn was a new story. He lived as he drove – bravely, with wind in his face and fire in his heart.”

Colleagues remember the murdered paramedic as a hardworking, intelligent and helpful person. Since Mr. Sadauskas was actively involved in sports, he helped organize the institution’s sports games, and planned to contribute this summer as well.
M. Sadauskas’ professional skills were also evaluated at the international ambulance games. As jp.lt wrote, in the competition held in Biršton almost 7 years ago, the team of Panevėžys District Municipal Polyclinic Emergency Medical Service (EMS) was unsurpassed in the category of small emergency medical services. She won first place among sixteen teams.
At that time, M. Sadauskas was the driver of the winning GMP team. It was after this victory that the whole crew was immortalized with the cup.
As Rūta Ramoškienė, head of the Panevėžys branch of the GMP service, told after the accident, M. Sadauskas worked in the capital of Aukštaitija for the third time, and before that he belonged to the GMP team of the Panevėžys district.
“That’s why I say that he was not a newcomer,” R. Ramoškienė explained to jp.lt.
According to the manager of the Panevėžys branch of the GMP service, Mantos’ ex-wife also joined the team three years ago.
M. Sadauskas’s colleague, paramedic Kamilė, did not spare any kind words.
“Mantas was a wonderful person, extremely hardworking and intelligent. He always helped. He took care of his children and loved them very much. When you needed advice, you always got a kind word from him that helped solve the problem. He gave advice on how to do sports, what to eat. He even adjusted his diet, taught him how to eat healthy. He was truly a wonderful person. I am very sorry for my colleague that this happened,” she said.
