Head of the Let’s Stop Corruption Foundation ZUZANA PETKOVA they demolished a company car. This happened at a time when her and her colleagues began to receive an increased number of threatening and hateful e-mails.
Writers of threatening e-mails often repeat narratives that are also heard at press conferences, says Petková in an interview for SME.
The foundation publishes serious findings about corruption under the fourth government Robert Fitz (Direction). Together with leading representatives of Smer, he criticized not only Petková, but also other people from the foundation at their press conferences.
Deputy Speaker of the Parliament for Smer Tibor Gašpar he also criticized the foundation on Tuesday’s press release and said that he would deal with it in the coming days.

When did you find out your car was broken into?
I found it out on Friday last week. I was on my way to a business trip to the east.
A colleague called me that there are city police officers from the part where I live in the foundation. They told him that the car, which is registered to the foundation but is used by me and was parked in front of my house, has a broken window.
He said the car was being guarded by city police to prevent anyone from breaking into it and doing more damage. At the same time, they also inspected it.
The policemen told me to come and report the whole matter after returning from my business trip.
When were you in the police?
On Monday. Since the vandalized car was preceded by some vulgar e-mails that wished me dead, I also reported that to the police.
At the same time, I needed to take care of the safety of myself and my family, which is why I announced the incident on social networks only today.
How did the police respond to this incident and how did they treat you when you also told them about the threatening emails?
According to a colleague, the police officers who were at the crime scene were very cooperative. They were also interested in whether there were any cameras nearby that could capture the attacker.
As for the investigation, they were skeptical as to whether the damage would be higher than 700 euros, because according to the amendment Criminal law it would not be a crime if the damage was less.
But on Tuesday I went to the service center and since the car has damage to the hood and upholstery in addition to the broken window, it looks like the damage will be more than 700 euros.
