The program for Sunday promises a colorful combination of music, circus and mysticism. One of the highlights is the Bulgarian formation Dizzy Grooves & Foli Ba, which will present the show “When the Drum Speaks”. The audience will be immersed in the magic of West Africa through energetic rhythms and traditional percussion.
The Donduk garden will “come to life” also thanks to:
Living statues
Masters of silence and immobility from Spain and Greece will provoke passers-by.
Circus from Argentina and Italy
The duo La Sambusa will make young and old laugh with two comic shows filled with acrobatics and live music.
Mythical creatures
The people of Plovdiv can still meet the “Sky Sirens” of the Dutch from Frantastica – fantastic creatures on stilts that seem to have come out of fairy tales.
This year’s edition of the festival proved that Plovdiv is the ideal backdrop for free art. From the Italian magic of Katastrofa clown in Central Square on Friday, through the Zen-fire show of Taiwanese Chien Hung Kuo on Saturday, to today’s African rhythm, the city has become a meeting point for artists from three continents.
All events with free entry invite Plovdiv residents and city guests to become part of the magic directly on the street.
