King Charles has caused concern about his state of health – fans are excited after watching a video tribute in honor of Queen Elizabeth II’s 100th birthday, writes “thenews.com”.
The monarch, who has been undergoing treatment for cancer for more than two years, was seen in a pre-recorded message.
In it, Charles paid tribute to his late mother and reaffirmed his commitment to duty.
The 77-year-old king reaffirmed his “solemn pledge of duty and service to you all”, saying he would continue to work “together towards a better, happier tomorrow rooted in peace, justice, prosperity and security”.
“God bless you sweet mommy. You will always be in our hearts and prayers,” he concluded.
However, fans of the royal family noted that he looked visibly tired during the speech, with some social media users describing him as ‘unsteady and tired’.
One internet commenter wrote: “Charles looks terrible. Sorry, but he does.” But another added: “He looks shaky and struggled to read the script.”
“He is very old, which is understandable. It is not clear how difficult his treatment is or how bad the cancer is now, but it must take its toll,” said another comment.
