Trumpist Carlson has become a staunch critic of Trump

Before Trump returned to the presidency, we often talked about a conservative journalist named Tucker Carlson. I remember when we criticized him for his emergency use of Trump, for going to an interview with Putin in Moscow, and for saying baseless things about the war in Ukraine. Look at this, Carlson, who praised Trump with tears in his mouth, today regrets that he helped Trump get elected.

After seeing the US war in Iran and Israel’s influence on America being greater than many imagined, Carlson realized that his use of Trump was wrong. Carlson is a very big man, arguably the most famous representative of the Republican Party after Trump. For this reason, it is worthwhile to focus on this topic in a separate video.

    “I’m sorry…”

“I must still be suffering from the pangs of conscience for a long time because I contributed to Trump’s election. To say that I simply changed my mind in this case would be an understatement. I regret that I misled people,” said the journalist in one of his regular broadcasts.

You may remember how Tucker Carlson supported Trump before the election. The journalist is popular among Republicans, which is why the Trump campaign took advantage of him. Tucker mocked Biden and tried to portray Trump as a savior. He was particularly critical of Joe Biden’s administration regarding the war in Ukraine.

During the war, Carlson went to Moscow and interviewed Putin. Carlson, who most likely listened to prepared answers to prepared questions without moving his ears, could not ask Putin a single question outside of the agreement. This interview actually served to exonerate Putin, and the Kremlin willingly shared it on all its pages.

Carlson has been active in Trump’s campaign since his election. But when America started a war in Iran, its position towards the president changed dramatically. Oddly enough, Tucker Carlson has become the most vocal critic of Donald Trump in America. You won’t find such a popular critic among Democrats.

Carlson believes that America started a war against Iran at Israel’s request, which is why he cannot hide his anger. For the past few months, his interviews have been mostly about Israel’s influence on America, Jews, Muslims, Christians, and the war in Iran.

In mid-February, Carlson went to Israel and arranged an interview with Mike Huckabee, the American ambassador to this country. This conversation was widely discussed all over the world, countries demanded an explanation on what was said in it, expressed protest.

Two words about the interviewer to explain what this interview is all about. Mike Huckabee is a Zionist, that is, a Christian Zionist. Christians of this faith believe that Israel has the right to possess the supposedly “God-given lands” in the Middle East. They claim that Israel should exist within the boundaries supposedly set forth in the Bible. Huckabee believes that “the state of Palestine should not be established” and that “using Israel is America’s religious duty.”

Carlson went to this ambassador and said, “Tell me, Mr. Ambassador, where did the claim that God promised lands come from?” he asked. The ambassador started the answer from the Bible and did not forget to mention the three wars, two intifadas, wars with Lebanon. But Carlson pressed him: “You say Israel has the right to exist, no problem with that, but what other country has the same right to exist as Israel?” When the ambassador tried to refer to the Bible again, Carlson peppered him with additional questions.

During the entire conversation, Carlson asked why the current Israeli government is doing what the American leadership is doing, but the ambassador kept on relegating the answer to a religious basis. In short, Tucker Carlson won the nearly three-hour long interview in the form of a debate.

The journalist did not limit himself to this interview, he made many broadcasts about how much influence Israel has on America. In Gaza, the church has been closed, and talk of a modern-day holocaust is underway. Trump even made several posts calling his staunch supporter Carlson an idiot, saying Carlson had been fired from the MAGA team. If it reaches Trump, you will find out how deep Carlson has gone.

    Why is his position important?

Now on why Tucker Carlson’s position matters. America does not seem to have a problem with freedom of speech. After all, their freedom of speech is enshrined in the First Amendment to the Constitution, the government cannot take any decision to limit freedom of speech, and harassment of journalists is a serious crime.

But here in America, not everything is right in the matter of the press. All major publications in America that can influence people’s opinion are owned by some billionaire, some company. Parties openly use and finance publications. That’s why journalists in America are paid very high, at the level of athletes. Don’t think that American journalists and television stations are “under the money” behind advertising, that some political power and economically powerful “Uncle Sam” is behind it all.

For example, the Washington Post is owned by Jeff Bezos. To translate it into Uzbek, if Amazon seizes the land of an American farmer or demolishes people’s houses in order to build a store, even if everyone writes about it, the Washington Post will not write about it, believe me. NYT and CNN lean Democratic, FOX News Republican. The wealthy pour so much money into the power of the press that independent publications are hard to come by in America. There are not enough to influence public opinion. Those with such power tend to lean either Republican or Democrat.

Tucker Carlson is a very unusual figure in this media space. After leaving FOX News, he immediately became a freelance journalist, but he was still very involved in Republican PR. And over the past few months, Tucker Carlson has become the largest independent publication in America. He has over 5.5 million followers on YouTube alone, and his videos are watched by millions, precisely because he’s so different. It’s interesting to watch how Carlson, a Republican, becomes the most vocal critic of a Republican president.
