The former deputy of the Democratic Party, Ervin Salianji, invited to the show “The Unexposed in Vizion Plus, expressed his surprise at the joy that Sali Berisha has shown for the overthrow of Vucic from power in Serbia, after Berisha’s ilk did not receive any votes, but Vucic was overthrown by the students.
Ylli Rakipi: In Albania there was a big celebration for the loss of Vucic. People from the left who don’t like Rama, Spiropali, Ditmir Bushati, even Majko or Veliaj are happy.
But Dr. Berisha was the happiest. In Albania, there is no formalized student movement like in Serbia, which defeated Vucic. Here it is expected that the doctor at this age, who is 80 or so years old, will overthrow Rama. What do you think?
Ervin Salianji: Sali Berisha of Serbia, who does not reform the party and barely maintains it, who had 65 mandates, got zero. So let’s start the conversation. So the case of Serbia is valid because the student protests here since the flamingos, the citizens have come out there because they do not find the level of citizen representation, there is an autocrat there who holds the party. What is there to be happy about this gentleman holding DP hostage? Stands violently. Today, Berisha should open his arms, open the DP, which is the public asset, let there be a competition and win the young people who have more energy, not me if you want and not him.
This happened in Serbia. Today, Sali Berisha can’t come out, he is tied with Rama. Are we in regime or co-government?
Berisha cannot talk about the tower at the Palace of Congresses, or the Milot-Balldren street. He talks about Vucic, while his narrative has fallen. You have people who think like Berisha. Have you heard Berisha, who says that autocracies have a property, they come deepening the result?
He said that in other elections Rama will win 60% or 70%. I said no because we have areas where we won with youth representation. The narrative has failed, because it is being shown that it is won with popular support. Both in Hungary and Serbia, they won with the autocrat’s rules and system. When the people go against it, there is no government in the world that holds it back,
Why is he happy? He had to open his arm. He is the poor man who carries Rama.
20% more voters turned out in Serbia. In Hungary, the participation rate reached 80%. Here in Albania, they did not come out to vote. Sali Berisha has the same political age as I have biological age. Will that 18-year-old go back there?”, declared Salianji, among other things.
