Ball Blazers of Fancy won the Shevern John North Windward Netball Tournament by a single point in their home village on Sunday.
Second place went to Trail Blazers of Owia, who earned a place in the finals after Overland Netball Team, which had won the competition since it started in 2022, were knocked out in the semifinals.

The new champions were undefeated in the competition, which began in Fancy on Feb. 15 and culminated in a victory on home turf on Sunday.
Trail Blazers had the upper hand in the first, second and third quarters, leading 8-7, 17-16 and 29-26.
However, the Fancy team turned things around in the last quarter to win 38-37.
In the junior division, Sandy Bay Police Youth Club won by default against Sandy Bay Secondary School, who failed to show for their game.

In the Developmental Category, Sandy Bay Government School defeated Fancy Beamers 8 goals to 7.
Speaking during the presentation and award ceremony, Parliamentary Representative for North Windward, Shevern John, the organiser of the competition, announced that the Shevern John North Windward T10 softball cricket competition bowls off in May.
