The Panamanian judoka Kristine Jiménez had a double celebration upon reaching the podium in the -57 kilogram category of the XIII South American Games Santa Fe 2026just on his birthday.
He Olympic Committee reported through social networks this Sunday that Jiménez conquered the bronze medal in judothus adding a new achievement to their participation in the South American competition that takes place in Santa Fe, Argentina.
The day had a special meaning for the Panamanian athlete, who celebrated her birthday with a medal around her neck and in the middle of the international competition.
The Panamanian sports organization highlighted Jiménez’s result and celebrated that the judoka was able to celebrate her special day with a performance that allowed her to get on the podium.
