In the press release issued by the said municipality, it is stated that these 63,814 kilograms of goods include various food and non-food items, which were collected from different markets of the city by the Department of Environmental Health and Environmental Protection of Kabul Municipality and its partner agencies.
Sources added that these items included milk, milk, biscuits, oil, cheese, canned beans and fish, tomato rub, chips, puffs, soft drinks, shampoo, soap and washing materials.
In the press release, it was revealed that there will be regular inspections and monitoring of the markets and violators will be dealt with legally.
Kabul municipality has also requested the sellers to refrain from selling outdated and low-quality goods and the citizens should consider the quality and expiration date of the goods.
