A relative of the student at the Almirante Guise Naval High School, located in San Borja, provided details about the alleged sexual abuse of which a teenager was the victim inside a bus that was transporting a delegation of students after participating in a sports competition. He noted that this Thursday, September 17, the minor went to the medical examiner and gave his testimony before the Gesell Chamber, within the framework of the investigations.
In statements to the program Now and on Willax TV time, This relative indicated that despite the seriousness of the events, the minor went to the clinic alone and called his parents to inform them of the events. That is, they did not have the support of the adults who accompanied them on the school bus where the sexual abuse allegedly occurred.
“My family member was on the bus with these kids from the school’s under-17 team. That happened upon returning to school and on the way this abuse arose against my family member. Even the adults who did nothing about it because my nephew got off the busthe boys go one way and he alone, completely alone, goes the other way“said the minor’s aunt.
Furthermore, he reported that the minor’s first reaction was to call his parents to ask for their help. “He calls his parents telling them that he had suffered an injury on the bus and if they can go pick him up. What my sister does is send him a taxi to take him from the front to the clinic and she will meet him at the clinic,” he said, showing that the minor did not have the support of the school staff immediately.
In another excerpt from the interview, the complainant’s aunt points out that the school director issued an internal statement hours after the events in which she informed the parents about a “physical attack”, while the complaint of sexual abuse was not evidenced despite the seriousness of the events that occurred on September 15.
“There are complaints. There are complaints (about attacks and bullying). Unfortunately they have never waited to get to this point. They sent a statement practically mocking what had happened because at the time the statement came out the director was already aware of what had happened. “And she wanted to make it up as a physical attack when she already knew what had happened on the bus,” he stated.

As recalled, the Welfare Directorate of the armed institute informed the director, a teacher and the soccer coach of the educational center about the separation of their positions. This, while the competent authorities carry out investigations into the incident.
In her intervention, the family member points out that her nephew could not recognize his ten attackers, but that all those intervened in some way made fun of the act of which he was a victim, according to his complaint.
“Between two students they grabbed my nephew by the hand and turned him over and among the others… because he could no longer visualize who grabbed him by the legs to be able to keep him immobilized and do the damage they caused him. The investigations will determine that (his responsibility) because unfortunately, like my nephew, they had him in a position where he couldn’t visualize… but when he managed to get up, that whole group was making fun and laughing,” he said.

Thus, he pointed out that these mockery would be a form of complicity and acceptance of the fact. “The one who didn’t do it because he didn’t take the stick did make fun. And he didn’t do anything to stop that either,” he said.
In addition, he questioned that the three adults who were on the bus did not help his nephew. According to their story, these personnel were in the front area of the bus caring for an injured student, so they did not intervene in the alleged sexual abuse that occurred in the rear area of the vehicle.
“Three adults were inside the bus. None of them acted. And in my opinion they should also have an investigation because it is not possible that they did nothing because this did not happen in 10 seconds,” said.
In addition, she reported that at the Naval High School, which was governed by the Navy, cases of harassment, attacks and bullying were normalized and recurrent, since she was a student.
“Just as there is this group of boys or this gang that is preliminarily detained, there are many groups in all grades (of harassers). And they already have complaints from parents, students, even teachers. Unfortunately the school’s board of directors has done nothing. The Lyceum is a cradle of bullying. It has always been like this. Always, always, always”, he recounted.
“My nephew is accompanied by all of us, he is distressed because he did not think that suddenly the type of bullying that exists at the Naval High School has reached so much by this gang of criminals, because that is what these kids are,” he added.

In addition, he said that the students involved were part of the educational institution’s under-17 soccer and futsal team, despite the fact that they already had reports of attacks.
“They already had a history of being problem kids, so to speak, there is no justification for them to have allowed this to happen. This could have happened to anyone, not just my nephew, who is exposed to these kids without any control. On top of that, they are rewarded by being selected from the school,” he mentioned.
Finally, he asked for support for his nephew and for the alleged aggressors to receive the sanctions stipulated by law.
“We ask for justice and that they not leave my sister alone. That they do not leave her alone in this process and that they continue to accompany my family member in any help they can offer, psychologically above all,” he indicated.
“That justice be done and that these laws be regulated because these kids have not thought like simple mobs. They have thought like a gang of criminals. That attack has been a gang attack. It has not been a child’s game. This here has already surpassed all limits of a mob,” he asked.
