Over 1,500 practices managed, 800 children per week and promoted with full marks by the family satisfaction questionnaire: the new thematic programming and synergies with the territory win.
SAN MARINO – On the eve of the opening of the new school year, the 2026 Summer Center season officially ends, marked for the first time by the introduction of a thematic program which has received great appreciation from citizens.
The numbers recorded demonstrate the wide scope of the service: 1,532 cases managed for an average of around 800 children welcomed every week.
The organizational network saw the use of 16 school locations flanked by 5 excellent external locations, including the Confucius Institute, the Arboretum, the Multieventi, the Francischin Ranch and the Bowling Ground, where participants had the opportunity to meet the champion of the Mediterranean Games Stella Paoletti.
This year’s educational offer was characterized by the network of cultural, artistic and sporting collaborations. The children’s journey was enriched thanks to the synergies with the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art of San Marino, the Nature Centre, the State Museums, various Sports Federations and local associations, as well as the contribution of tourist guides, English teachers, the “Readers with the Suitcase” and the designer Davide Pagliardini.
An offer supported by the preparation of the staff: each animator has in fact followed 10 hours of compulsory training organized with the Minors and Disabilities Service, the Well-being Team, the Playroom, Dr. Alice Guardigli, the San Marino Music Institute and Dr. Cecilia Fabbri and the Summer Centers Team.
The appreciation for the results of the initiative is confirmed by the data that emerged from the satisfaction questionnaire administered to families at the end of the activities, to which 405 parents responded.
The majority of participants expressed an overall very positive evaluation of the experience, particularly rewarding the professionalism and availability of the entertainment team. Among the strong elements, the punctuality and effectiveness of communication with families stand out, as well as the enthusiasm shown by the children during daily attendance.
Also noteworthy is the data that emerged on the service offered by support educators: 71.4% of parents who benefited from the support of a dedicated educator expressed the highest level of satisfaction, confirming the commitment to inclusion as a fundamental pillar of San Marino’s educational offer.
At the same time, there was no shortage of ideas for improvement and critical elements that emerged from the families’ reports, above all that relating to the air conditioning of some environments. The solution must be addressed at 360 degrees by all the actors involved in the system who are already receiving the attention of the Secretary of State.
