An Algerian international player will not play in the “Greens’” upcoming matches, against Zambia, Burundi and Niger. Under the command of the new coach Ibrahim Hamdani.
The matches between Zambia and Burundi will be held on the 25th and 29th of this September, in the first rounds of the 2027 African Cup of Nations qualifiers. This is the counterpart of the match on the 6th of October next with Niger, which is of a friendly nature.
The matter here concerns midfielder Yacine Titaroui, who suffers from an injury to his right thigh. It forced him to leave in the 60th minute of the match between his team, Lens, and the guest club, Lorient, last Saturday evening, within the framework of the third round of the French championship’s round of life.
Titaroui is currently undergoing treatment, and will not participate in any official match until the FIFA period for international matches ends on the sixth of next October. According to a report published by the French newspaper “La Voix du Nord” on Monday.
Yassine Titaroui had attended the World Cup with the national team last June, and after a summer vacation, he moved to the French club Lens, and played four official matches for them, mainly: three matches in the tournament, and another in the local Premier Cup.
