Ivalo Nguujuk Adolfsen Arnfjordsocial educator, will be the new subject manager for the day care area in the municipality of Kujalleq. The South Greenland municipality announces this in a press release.
– We are very happy that Ivalo Nguujuk Adolfsen Arnfjord has agreed to become head of department for day care in Kujalleq Municipality, says head of administration for Inerisaanermut Ingerlatsivik, Annga Lynge.
For a number of years, Ivalo has worked with educational development work in the Danish Agency for Education, including with Meeqqerivitsialak. Among other things, she has worked with the implementation of legislation in the field of day care, educational development plans, upskilling of employees and development of course and teaching materials for the pre-school area.
– Daycare services play a crucial role in children’s first year. It is therefore important that we have a clear professional direction and a close collaboration with the institutions. With Ivalo, we get a specialist manager who both knows the area deeply and can help develop it in close interaction with managers and employees, writes the municipality.
